The allergic rhinitis is a chronic disease, which the symptons range from frequency and severity. It is present in childhood and adulthood, and frequently worses the quality of the life. The diagnosis depends on a careful history description, supported by the physical examination, and exams. The treatment is complex, and supported by educative’s measures, enviroment’s control, drugs, and in some cases, specific imunotherapy and surgery. This review intends to bring a guideline of how to diagnose, classify and treat the allergic rhinitis.
