Summary
We have reported two male patients with acute vertigo and gait ataxic. In both cases the cause was the cerebellar infartion which was only proved by the image tests. These patients had made a completely recovery from the vestibular symptoms; however, one of them was still shown a left sensorioneural hearing loss. We believe that patients with similar symptoms should be evaluated with Computer Tomography and/or Magnetic Resonance Image as routine.
