Summary

A case of sphenoid mucocele is related.

The diagnosis was based on endoscopic and computadorizad tomography features. The patient underwent endoscopic surgery and had good evaluation after that, with remission of the symptoms but without recurrent disease in two years.

A review of literature was done. The authors present etiology, clinical presentation, diagnosis method and adequate treatment for this kind of lesion.
