The aging of population is a mundial phenomenon. Elderly people increase more and more promoting higher prevalence of diseases with bone and articular involvement causing pain, articular deformers and disability. Frequently, rheumatic affections are responsible by bone and articular disorders, but other diseases present these disorders. This article describes non rheumatic diseases that present bone and articular disorders and its differential diagnosis in elderly people.
