Summary

In this report, two cases of malignant Brenner tumor of the ovary are shown. They were gotten from the archives of the Central Hospital of Santa Casa de Misericordia de São Paulo, in the period between 1976 and 1998. A literature review was made in order to study the tumor histogenesis, its macroscopic and microscopic peculiarity, the criteria to classify the tumor as malignant, the hormonal secretion, the usage of the tumor markers and its management.
